About the Role

Are you a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Bridgwater and the surrounding areas? We are recruiting for Year 4/5/6 Supply Teachers for temporary long-term placements, involving:

  • Providing long-term classroom cover depending on school needs
  • Delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment
  • Following school planning and adapting lessons where required
  • Supporting pupil progress, behaviour, and wellbeing throughout the school day
  • Working closely with school staff to ensure continuity of learning

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS
  • Recent teaching experience or placements within Key Stage 2 settings
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • A positive approach to behaviour management and creating an engaging learning environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude
  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex Education
