About the role
Teachers have the outstanding ability to change a young person’s life through the power of education. We are currently recruiting for one of these outstanding educators to join us in supporting young learners in the Birmingham region. Connex are looking for a Teacher comfortable teaching Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a unique hybrid supply teacher and home tuition position. With our home tuition, you will be providing individuals away from mainstream education the additional aid they need to continue their learning through dedicated 1:1 sessions out of the classroom, and then return to the classroom on the days that suit you. This role is perfect for those looking to continue leading a classroom while gaining the flexibility of fewer hours on set days of the week.

About the tuition
As a Home Tutor you will have a dynamic and unique approach to learning. You will be supporting students currently out of mainstream education but continuing their learning through dedicated 1:1 learning in their homes. Each student is different and learns in their own unique and individual way so Teachers comfortable with tailoring lessons plans and looking for the flexibility of hours are perfect for this role. Experience working with SEN would be beneficial.

Role Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) confirming employability as a Teacher in England, Scotland & Wales
- Previous Experience working in a Primary School settings
- DBS On the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education
- Strong classroom management skills
- A clear passion for working with children and fostering their educational growth
- Commitment to the profession of working in Education
