The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential. ECTs will not be considered for this position.
- Previous experience teaching within an SEMH setting or significant experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs in a school environment.
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour management strategies.
- The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
- A patient, resilient and proactive approach to teaching.
- A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
