About the role

As a school SENCO you play a vital role supporting SEN students within the school. You will work closely with other teachers to develop and implement tailored educational plans to meet the individual needs of students with SEN. A SENCO's top priority is ensuring that pupils have the extra support they need to access the full curriculum and participate in all aspects of school life. Additionally, you will be tasked with regularly monitoring the progress of students and adjusting support strategies as needed. This is the perfect opportunity for a nurturing educator that is looking to remain in a school setting but take a step back from classroom teaching.

Role Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) confirming employability as a Teacher in England, Scotland & Wales
  • Previous Experience working in Primary School settings
  • DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education
  • A clear passion for working with children and fostering their educational growth
  • Commitment to the profession of working in Education
  • Past 2 years’ worth of referencing
