Connex Education is working in partnership with a fantastic primary school in the NG13 area that is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join their team on a job-share basis with a Year 5 class. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a welcoming and supportive 2-form entry primary school with a strong team ethos and a positive learning environment.

The Role

  • Teaching a Year 5 class as part of a job-share arrangement
  • Working 2.5 or 3 days per week
  • Starting in September 2026 and continuing for the full academic year
  • Collaborating closely with the existing class teacher to ensure consistency and continuity for pupils
  • Contributing to and supporting the planning, preparation, and assessment alongside your job-share partner
  • Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that enables all pupils to thrive
