Job Description

The AP tutor (at home) plays a vital role in re-engaging students with learning, supporting their emotional wellbeing, and helping them achieve academic and personal success.\\n\\nApply today if this role is for you!\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nTeaching & Learning\\n\\nPlan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs, often across multiple subjects.\\nUse creative and flexible approaches to overcome barriers to learning.\\nAssess, monitor, and report on pupil progress regularly.\\n\\nSupport\\n\\nBuild trusting relationships with pupils, many of whom have experienced trauma or disruption.\\nSupport pupils’ emotional, social, and behavioural development.\\nWork closely with parents/carers to foster a supportive home-school partnership.\\n\\nBehaviour Management\\n\\nImplement consistent behaviour strategies rooted in empathy and restorative practice.\\nPromote a safe, respectful, and nurturing learning environment.\\n\\nCollaboration\\n\\nWork with a Social workers, and external agencies.
