About the Role
Connex Education is working with a Primary School in Bromborough seeking a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with SEMH/ADHD needs. The role involves building a positive, consistent relationship with the pupil, encouraging engagement through structure, routine, and clear roles, while helping manage refusal, high energy levels, and occasional time out of class. You may also support a small number of other pupils in the same class, so flexibility and the ability to take direction are essential. A nurturing, calm, and patient approach is key. Team Teach training is highly desirable for this role.

Assignment Details

Person Specification
Qualifications- A Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will also be considered.
- GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both) or equivalent Level 2.
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.
