Salary: £150–£241 per day, depending on role and pay scale
About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with schools across Yeovil and the surrounding areas, including schools within the Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust (BWMAT), to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers to start immediately.
We are looking for qualified teachers who can deliver engaging, inclusive and purposeful learning across Key Stage 1 + 2. Whether you are looking for flexible day-to-day supply, short-term placements or longer-term opportunities, we can offer a variety of roles to suit your experience and availability.
The Role
- Day-to-day, short and long term supply teaching
- Full class responsibility where required
- Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Working closely with school staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing
- Adapting teaching to meet different abilities and learning needs

The Yeovil area includes a number of primary schools within the Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust (BWMAT).
BWMAT is a Church of England multi-academy trust supporting 46 schools across Somerset, North Somerset and Bath and North East Somerset.

What We’re Looking For
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 + 2
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Confidence with classroom management
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A flexible, reliable and professional approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
