Key Responsibilities

  • Teach across KS1 and KS2, adapting lessons to suit different year groups and abilities.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support pupils’s learning, progress, and individual development.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider school community.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learners.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and high expectations of behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community.
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Job Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
  • Confidence teaching across KS1 and/or KS2.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children’s learning.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
  • Flexible, reliable, and confident adapting to different school environments.
  • Commitment to equality, inclusion, and diversity.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
