Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs?
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join schools across Great Barr. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong SEN experience who wants a rewarding role supporting pupils both academically and emotionally.
The role:
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Supporting learning, engagement and development
- Helping pupils manage behaviour and emotions
- Building positive relationships with pupils
- Working alongside teachers and the wider school team
- Creating a calm, supportive and inclusive learning environment
We are looking for:
- Strong previous SEN experience β essential
- A patient, resilient and caring approach
- Confidence supporting children with additional needs
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed
- A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or similar qualification is desirable but not essential
