Connex Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning, building confidence, and making a positive difference in the classroom.
The Role:
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and behavioural challenges where required.
- Encouraging pupil participation, confidence, and academic progress.
Although we have many long-term roles at Connex, we are especially looking for TAs who are happy to work day to day cover. Cover can be a great way to get into schools to see what suits you and make a great impression for long-term opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
- Is patient, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting pupil development.
- Has strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Can adapt to the needs of different pupils and classroom environments.
- Holds, or is willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check.
- Has a genuine passion for education and helping children reach their full potential.
