Connex Education is recruiting a dedicated SEN Support Worker for a specialist educational setting supporting children and young adults with profound and complex learning difficulties.
This role is ideal for candidates from a care, support work or healthcare background who are confident supporting individuals with complex needs and prefer a holistic, person-centred approach rather than a purely academic focus.

- Supporting communication, sensory needs, emotional wellbeing and daily living skills.
- Helping learners develop independence, confidence and life skills.
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide consistent, individualised care.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience supporting individuals with complex SEN or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).
- Confidence with personal care and manual handling.
- A caring, patient and compassionate approach.
- Experience in support work, healthcare or care settings is highly relevant.
- A genuine passion for improving quality of life and helping individuals reach their potential.
What’s on Offer?
- Up to £105 per day, depending on experience.
- Full-time, long-term work.
- Monday–Friday working hours.
- A rewarding role focused on meaningful progress, wellbeing and independence.
- Opportunities to develop your skills and access additional training.
If you’re an experienced Support Worker looking to transfer your skills into a specialist educational setting, we’d love to hear from you.
