A specialist school in Bury St Edmunds needs energetic, resilient Teaching Assistants to support children and young people aged 4β19 with SLD, PMLD, autism and complex physical needs.
Youβll work in a small, well-staffed class alongside teachers, therapists and experienced SEND professionals. Support will include sensory learning, communication activities, practical life skills, mobility and personal care where required.
Experience with Makaton, communication aids, complex needs or care work would be useful, but attitude matters just as much. You must be patient, hands-on and able to celebrate progress that happens one small step at a time.
Full support and specialist training are provided.
