Connex Education is seeking skilled and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across a range of primary schools across BANES, having partnered with Bath & Wells Multi Academy Trust from September 2026. We are working exclusively with a large and highly regarded Multi-Academy Trust that operates across the South West. The Trust is well known for its inclusive approach, strong community connections and commitment to delivering high standards of education while supporting the wellbeing and development of both pupils and staff.

We are looking for confident and experienced HLTAs who can:

  • Support learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
  • Support pupils within whole-class learning environments.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff.
  • Assist in implementing EHCP targets and tailored learning plans.
  • Adapt effectively across different school settings and year groups.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or substantial experience working at HLTA level.
  • Experience within UK primary school settings.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • A flexible, proactive and reliable approach.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
