Connex Education is currently looking for SEND Teaching Assistants to support primary-aged pupils within schools across Weston-super-Mare. This is a fantastic opportunity for caring, reliable and enthusiastic individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in local classrooms. You will support pupils with additional needs, helping them feel included, confident and ready to learn.
Working closely with class teachers, SEND teams and wider school staff, you will provide practical, emotional and educational support to pupils who may need additional guidance throughout the school day:
- Support pupils with SEND during lessons and structured activities
- Assist children in developing confidence and independence
- Support children's wellbeing and emotional development
Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals is beneficial. Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply.
