Connex Education is working in partnership with Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust (BWMAT) to recruit passionate Primary Teachers for Upper Key Stage 2 opportunities across schools in Bath & North East Somerset.

Whether you're an experienced Year 5 or Year 6 teacher, or a confident primary practitioner looking to move into Upper KS2, we have a range of day-to-day, short-term, long-term and potential permanent opportunities to suit your career goals.

You'll join welcoming school communities that are committed to delivering high-quality teaching and preparing pupils for a successful transition into secondary education.

  • Prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school, including SATs where appropriate
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are welcome to apply
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Upper KS2
  • A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • Commitment to raising standards and supporting every child to achieve their potential
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education
