Connex Education is delighted to be working exclusively alongside a respected Multi Academy Trust to recruit passionate Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for opportunities starting in September 2026. We are working exclusively with a large and highly respected Multi-Academy Trust (BWMAT) that supports a wide network of schools across North Somerset. The Trust is recognised for its inclusive values, strong community focus, supportive leadership and commitment to nurturing both pupils and staff. Many of the schools have strong links to their local communities and place a high emphasis on wellbeing, collaboration, and high-quality teaching and learning.

This is a brilliant opportunity for enthusiastic ECTs who are looking to begin their teaching career in supportive school settings that place a strong emphasis on creativity, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing.

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Adapt learning activities to support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
  • Use creative and interactive teaching methods to make learning enjoyable and accessible for all pupils
  • Mark work, assess progress, and provide constructive feedback to support pupil achievement
  • Build positive working relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to promote learning and wellbeing

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or working towards QTS as an Early Career Teacher
  • A passionate and engaging teaching style
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the classroom
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education
