About the Role

We welcome teachers who are confident delivering lessons across a range of Design & Technology disciplines, including Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, Engineering, Food Technology, Textiles, and other D&T specialisms. These supply roles offer the opportunity to work in a variety of schools while helping students develop practical skills and a passion for design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Teach flexibly across a range of Design & Technology subjects where required.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment, ensuring high standards of behaviour and workshop safety.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to support student progress and achievement.
  • Inspire creativity, innovation, and confidence through practical and theoretical learning experiences.

Person Specification

  • QTS preferred, although strong secondary Design & Technology teaching experience will also be considered.
  • Ability to teach across a range of Design & Technology specialisms.
  • Passion for inspiring young people through creative and practical learning.
