Connex Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a primary school supporting EYFS, KS1 and KS2 pupils with special educational needs. In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils access the curriculum and achieve their individual targets. You will adapt learning activities to meet a range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs while promoting communication, confidence, independence, and positive behaviour. Your support will help create a safe, inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to make progress and reach their full potential.

Role Requirements:

  • Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or Equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualification is required.
  • Previous experience working in Education is essential.

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
