Connex Education is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary School Bank Teachers to provide classroom cover across a range of primary schools in Birmingham. As a Bank Teacher, you will play a key role in ensuring continuity of learning when permanent staff are absent or additional classroom support is required. You will have the opportunity to work across different schools and year groups, gaining valuable experience while enjoying the flexibility to fit work around your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom settings
  • Maintain positive classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support pupils' learning and engagement throughout the school day
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups where required
  • Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and school leaders

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience working within a primary school setting
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A passion for supporting children's learning and development
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality education
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education
