About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and achievement
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments where applicable
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment and personal development

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A passion for raising attainment and supporting pupil progress
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education
