About the Role
Connex Education is recruiting for a passionate and motivated KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher to inspire pupils and help them achieve their full potential during the important Key Stage 2 years. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, foster a positive learning environment, and support pupils as they prepare for the transition to secondary education.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and achievement
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments where applicable
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment and personal development
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Contribute positively to the wider school community

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for raising attainment and supporting pupil progress
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education
