Connex Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a welcoming SEN school in Knowle, Birmingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with SEMH.
You will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with autism.
- Planning and delivering creative, personalised lessons in line with EHCP targets.
- Supporting pupils with a range of communication and sensory needs.
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and other professionals.
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent/experience.
- Experience working with children with autism and additional needs.
- A patient, empathetic and flexible approach.
