As a Year 5 Classroom Teacher, you will take full responsibility for delivering high-quality teaching and ensuring continuity of learning for a class of 15 pupils. This is a full-scale teaching role requiring confident lesson planning, delivery, and assessment in line with the Year 5 curriculum. You will be expected to demonstrate strong and consistent classroom management, establish positive relationships quickly, and maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning. Knowledge of Special Educational Needs, particularly experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), would be highly beneficial due to the needs within the class. The role involves creating engaging and inclusive lessons, adapting teaching to meet individual needs, and providing a safe, supportive learning environment. SEN experience is essential to the role.
