As a member of the Workday Application Management Support (AMS) team, the Workday HCM, Compensation and Absence Analyst will support the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Workday HCM, Absence, Compensation and related modules. Working closely with HR, Reward, Payroll, and business stakeholders, you will help ensure Workday effectively supports business processes, delivers a positive employee experience, and remains aligned with organisational requirements.
This role is ideal for someone with solid Workday functional experience who enjoys problem-solving, system configuration, and supporting business users while developing their expertise across Workday.
Key Responsibilities
Provide functional support and configuration for Workday HCM, Absence, and Compensation modules.
Support the administration and optimisation of absence plans, leave types, accruals, carry-over rules, and related business processes.
Assist with the configuration and delivery of compensation review processes, including annual salary reviews, merit cycles, and bonus planning.
Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, translating HR and Reward needs into Workday solutions.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve Workday issues, escalating where appropriate.
Support testing activities for system enhancements, fixes, Workday releases, and business-led changes.
Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased automation.
Provide guidance on standard Workday functionality and best practice configuration.
Help manage support requests, ensuring issues and enhancements are tracked and resolved within agreed timeframes.
Support Workday releases by reviewing new functionality, assessing impacts, and assisting with testing activities.
Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and knowledge articles.
Support reporting requirements through Workday reports, dashboards, and data analysis.
Perform data maintenance activities including EIB uploads and validation exercises.
Collaborate with HR, Reward, Payroll, IT, and third-party partners to support ongoing system improvements.
