As Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering our strategy across the major property portals used by brands throughout the Connells Group. Working closely with the Head of Online Marketing and internal teams, you'll help drive best practice, improve consistency, and unlock opportunities to enhance engagement, performance and ROI from our presence across the 3 major UK property portals - Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket. This is a full-time role with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help manage and optimise the Groups presence across Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket.
  • Support teams across the business to maximise engagement, visibility and value from portal activity.
  • Work closely with external portal account managers to identify opportunities, enhancements and innovations.
  • Maintain and evolve reporting on portal usage, performance and adoption across brands with management of a multi-million pound budget.
  • Support testing and optimisation of property listings, content and assets, including A/B testing where appropriate.
  • Monitor competitor activity, industry trends and portal developments to inform recommendations and best practice.
  • Organise and maintain portal assets, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and commercial objectives.

Stakeholder & Operational Support

  • Act as a central point of support for portal-related queries from teams across the business.
  • Work with Learning and Development teams to ensure that portal training materials are clear and up-to-date.
  • Support day-to-day digital operations related to portal activity, ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations and leadership teams to align portal activity with wider business goals.

About You

Key skills and experience

  • Proven experience managing and optimising digital platforms or marketplaces, ideally within a complex or multi-brand environment.
  • The confidence to work with senior stakeholders, influence decision-making, and balance differing commercial priorities.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines and dependencies simultaneously.
  • A strategic mindset, paired with a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using data and performance metrics to evaluate activity, identify trends and make clear, commercially focused recommendations.
  • A solid understanding of performance-driven marketing and how digital platforms contribute to wider business objectives.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to spot opportunities, drive improvements and lead best practice.
  • Experience in the property market is not essential, but would be advantageous.
