Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Surveyor at Connells Survey & Valuation. The Surveyor will conduct residential property inspections, gather data on condition, construction, and location, and prepare clear, accurate valuation and survey reports for purchase and lending decisions. Responsibilities include assessing risks and defects, providing professional advice in line with RICS standards, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Professional surveying expertise, including experience in residential property inspection, valuation, and reporting in line with RICS standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify defects, assess risks, and interpret market and property data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to produce clear reports and explain findings to clients and stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
- Comfort with remote working, effective time management, and the ability to manage an independent workload and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using IT systems and digital tools for data collection and report production
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as MRICS or AssocRICS, and registration as a RICS valuer (or working towards these credentials).
- Knowledge of the UK residential property market and lending environments; previous experience with lender or panel work is an advantage.
- Commitment to ongoing training, professional development, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
