Senior Property Manager
We are looking for a Senior Property Manager to effectively manage and drive a team of Property Managers ensuring company standards are constantly met ensuring good customer service and standards are achieved within company policy, legislative and regulatory requirements. This is based in Walmsley\'s Caversham branch.
Key responsibilities as a Senior Property Manager
Your key responsibilities will be to oversee and support a team of property managers and to assist senior department staff in achieving agreed objectives and targets.
- Managing team performance, conducting monthly 1-2-1`s with PM`s
- Spot checking PM`s portfolio reports to ensure KPI`s are being met
- Hold weekly and ad-hoc team meetings to ensure company and departmental procedures and processes are being discussed and followed
- Assisting the management team in the day to day running of the property management team
- Ensure relevant compliance tasks are up to date in accordance with company policy and relevant legislation.
- Train and develop new and existing team members.
- To work closely with the branch network to ensure good communication and a strong working relationship between the branches and PMC.
- Assist the manager with interviewing and recruitment of new property management staff when required
Skills and experience required as a Senior Property Manager
We are looking for someone who had a background in residential lettings, property management or estate agency preferable or with experience on negotiating insurance claims dealing with contracts, negotiation and mediation would be useful. You must have ARLA 1 or hold a Lettings Technical Award.
- Experience of managing a portfolio of residential property (Essential)
- Minimum 6 months experience of supervising/managing staff (Desirable)
- Knowledge of lettings and property management legislation (Essential)
- Strong time management skills (Essential)
- Ability to work under pressure (Essential)
- Proven customer service skills (Essential)
- Strong problem solving skills (Essential)
- In depth knowledge of Propco or similar property management software (Desirable)
