We are seeking a data-driven Business Analyst to join Connells Group's Technology team, supporting Marketing operations. Working in an Agile Scrum team, you will help deliver technology solutions that enable customer engagement, campaign effectiveness, and personalisation. The role focuses on data, integrations, and customer preferences, ensuring scalable and compliant solutions aligned to business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with Marketing teams to understand business objectives, customer journeys, and data needs; translating these into actionable user stories.
- Data & Integration Analysis: Define requirements for data flows, platform integrations (e.g. CRM, marketing tools), and data transformations.
- Data Privacy & Compliance: Embed GDPR, consent, and communication preferences into solutions by design.
- Requirements & Discovery: Lead workshops and analysis to improve targeting, segmentation, and campaign outcomes.
- Backlog Support: Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritise user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Agile Delivery: Work closely with engineers in sprint activities, providing clarity on data, APIs, and dependencies.
- Campaign Alignment: Support timely delivery of solutions aligned to marketing schedules.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Liaise with Marketing, Technology, and third-party vendors.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in data quality, governance, and integration processes.
Skills & Experience
- Experience as a Business Analyst in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong data analysis, mapping, and integration experience
- Knowledge of MarTech (CRM, campaign platforms)
- Understanding of GDPR and data privacy requirements
- Experience with APIs and third-party integrations
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
- Experience with segmentation, personalisation, or journey mapping
- Knowledge of data governance or quality frameworks
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, GA, SQL)
- Understanding of marketing performance metrics
