We\\\’re looking to recruit an experienced VRS registered RICS Surveyor with experience in valuing residential property to complete Desktop Valuations and help us shape the future of the residential surveying industry.

This is an exciting opportunity to continue your career in surveying and contribute to the success of our organisation. You will participate in face to face induction where you meet trainers, stakeholders and other surveyors. You will receive comprehensive training designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills required for a successful career in surveying with access to state of the art IT systems to enable you to fulfil your role.

Qualifying Criteria for a Surveyor

  • AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS
  • Registered Valuer with VRS or eligible
  • Post-qualification experience in buy-to-let, leasehold and HMO is preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge and experience of valuing a range of residential property types for lending purposes, ideally across a wide range of locations.

Key Responsibilities of a Desktop Valuation Surveyor

  • Undertaking lender valuations, primarily desktop valuations with some physical inspections
  • Detailed knowledge of building construction and pathology
  • Strong risk awareness of a regulatory environment
