We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale CRM data migration programme as part of Project Prometheus on a 6-month contract. The primary focus of the role is to analyse, document, and map legacy (“heritage”) CRM system and associated reporting, in order to support the replication and recreation of the target-state operational and analytical reporting suite. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, architecture, and business delivery, and requires strong data analysis capability alongside the ability to work effectively with engineers, business SMEs, and data architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Legacy System Reporting Analysis
- Analyse and document existing heritage CRM reporting systems with a focus on data structures, business logic, and reporting outputs.
- Discover, decompose, and document legacy reporting and MI processes (including SQL-based routines, ETL processes, and SSRS reports).
- Work with DBAs and engineers to understand undocumented or complex logic embedded in legacy systems.
- Data Reporting Requirements
- Identify and catalogue existing KPIs, metrics, and reporting outputs, including calculation logic and data dependencies.
