Opportunity to be a core part of scaling Connekt England! Connekt EV Charging is a UK-based Charge Point Operator and infrastructure installer who do things differently. Connekt designs and operates workplace and destination charging solutions that integrate seamlessly into drivers’ daily lives. This is a full-time, on-site Sales Specialist role based in Manchester. This is a unique opportunity for a sales professional with an entrepreneurial mindset. Connekt are looking to use the successful blueprint developed in Scotland with their team of 30 to England, starting with our new England head office.

The Sales Specialist will identify and qualify new business opportunities, conduct outbound and inbound sales activities, and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract signing. Responsibilities include:

  • Presenting Connekt EV Charging solutions with a focus on charging as a service to fleets to prospective clients.
  • Preparing proposals and negotiating terms that align with customer needs and company goals.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with workplace and destination partners.
  • Being a part of the core team who will play a huge part in scaling Connekt England.
  • Providing basic product training and guidance to customers.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Contributing feedback to improve sales processes and customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, drive and hunger.
  • Strong communication skills, including clear verbal presentations, professional written communication, and active listening.
  • Proven customer service experience, with a focus on building trust, managing expectations, and resolving issues effectively.
  • Demonstrated sales skills, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals in a B2B or solutions-led environment.
  • Experience with sales management or pipeline management, including forecasting, reporting, and use of CRM tools.
  • Ability to deliver basic training to customers or partners on products, services, or processes.
  • Previous experience in EV charging, energy, technology, or related infrastructure sectors is an advantage.
  • Comfort working in a fast-growing environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel within the Manchester area and UK wide, including training at Connekt HQ in Scotland.
