Connekt is a fast-growing EV infrastructure provider. With strong roots in destination charging, we now help organisations roll out workplace and fleet depot charging through our fully funded Charging as a Service (CaaS) model. We remove the barriers to electrification by funding, installing, and operating charging infrastructure with no upfront cost. Our focus is on workplace charging and depot-based fleets, delivering smart, scalable solutions that combine hardware, software, funding, and ongoing support into one seamless offering. We’re a scaling, fast-paced business where adaptability is everything. We move quickly, make decisions fast, and back people who take ownership. It’s not for everyone, but for the right person, it’s a huge opportunity to grow and make an impact.

The Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the UK, based in our Manchester regional office. This role will be office based unless in front of clients. This is solution selling, not transactional sales. You’ll work with fleet operators, businesses, and partners to understand their electrification challenges and design fully funded EV charging solutions tailored to their operational and commercial needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of workplace and depot fleet opportunities
  • Engage with decision makers to understand fleet electrification strategies and challenges
  • Position Connekt’s Charging as a Service model as a long-term, value-driven solution
  • Build strong relationships with businesses, fleet operators, property stakeholders, and strategic partners
  • Deliver compelling proposals that combine infrastructure, funding, and ongoing services
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to close
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions are deliverable, and aligned to customer needs
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue and activity targets

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B solution sales
  • Strong ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Commercially astute with a consultative, problem-solving mindset
  • Highly self-motivated, organised, and driven to succeed
  • Confident communicator, both in person and on the phone
  • Experience in EV, energy, fleet, or infrastructure sectors

Why Join Connekt?

  • Be part of a high-growth business in one of the fastest-growing sectors
  • Sell a truly differentiated, fully funded solution that solves real customer challenges
  • Ongoing training and development to build expertise in Connekt and EV revolution
  • Clear career progression opportunities as the business scales
