General Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our existing partners, driving sales growth, driving retention, managing revenue & sales activities, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet satisfactory client objectives. This role works in partnership with the broader sales team to manage the sales cycle, open to close, and expanding growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides support to crossâfunctional teams, with a high attention to detail.
- Researches, analyses, and documents findings.
- May coach, review, and/or delegate work to other team members.
- Achieves personal annual sales growth contract value based on the total opportunity.
- Achieves personal annual sales growth contract value based on the ability to both SellâTo and Sell Through our existing customers (specific to Partner Sales).
- Manages partners within our Ideal Customer Profile and within their designated territory as the primary commercial point of contact.
- Account Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and crossâselling additional products or services.
- Strategic Planning: Develop territory and account plans to achieve client goals and drive revenue growth.
- Project Coordination: Oversee delivery of products or services, ensuring client requirements are met on time and within scope.
- Performance Reporting: Track and report key metrics such as renewals, churn, and customer satisfaction.
- Issue Resolution: Act quickly to resolve client concerns and coordinate solutions internally.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align on client strategy and service improvements.
- Forecast: Work closely with broader team and management to provide accurate forecasting (Monthly, QTR and Yearly).
- Closes sales that meet the ConnectWise standards for pricing, margins, terms, and conditions.
- Qualifies existing accounts to build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities to achieve annual sales goals that are set quarterly.
- Negotiates contract opportunity terms, discounts, and implementation.
- Builds and maintains longâterm relationships with partners to bolster retention.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required
- Ability to manage large projects and processes independently with limited supervision.
- Recognised subject matter expert of applicable work area.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problemâsolving and analytical abilities.
- Commercial acumen and understanding of client business models.
- Organised and detailâoriented, with strong followâup and time management.
- Ability to situationally adapt and understand new technology/processes as per partner requirements.
- Comfortable with prolonged phone use.
- Ability to effectively make 40â50 outbound calls per day.
- Knowledge of Managed Service Provider (MSP), Technology Service Provider (TSP), and Security industry.
- Ability to identify opportunities and leverage resources appropriately.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Outreach and other sales tools.
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent business experience.
- Fluent in Nordic and English.
- 3 years of experience in Channel account management, client success, or sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding client satisfaction and retention targets.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and reporting software.
Working Conditions
- Hybrid.
- 0â10% travel may be required.
