As a Land Manager, you will be pivotal in identifying, acquiring, and managing land for wind, solar, and battery storage projects. This role involves securing suitable sites, negotiating land agreements, and coordinating with various teams to support successful project development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential land sites for renewable energy projects.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Planning, Project Management, and Grid Connections, to assemble necessary land for project viability.
  • Negotiate and secure land agreements, leases, and easements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners throughout the development process.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of land agreements, contracts, and communications.
  • Ensure all land acquisitions align with planning requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to establish effective land strategies.
  • Oversee land agents and provide regular reporting on land status, including commercial aspects.
  • Support community engagement strategies in conjunction with the project development team.
  • Coordinate with legal and development teams throughout the land acquisition process.
