Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of specialist smoke ventilation projects across residential and commercial developments. The successful candidate will manage projects from design handover through to completion, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget and compliant with technical specifications.

Working closely with internal teams, clients and contractors, you will coordinate project activities, drive programme performance and maintain commercial oversight throughout the project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised professional with a background in construction, HVAC or smoke ventilation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned projects from initial handover through to completion.
  • Review project designs and take ownership of technical implementation.
  • Support the development of project plans, including scope, programme, budgets and resource allocation.
  • Ensure project requirements align with client specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with design and safety requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules and resources where required.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
  • Manage site engineers, contractors and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate procurement requirements and support commercial delivery.
  • Ensure contractual obligations and project milestones are achieved.
Requirements Experience & Qualifications
  • Ideally a minimum of two years' construction or site-based experience.
  • Proven experience in a Project Manager position.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to travel to sites and attend the office as required.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when project demands require.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Previous experience delivering projects within smoke ventilation, HVAC or a related industry.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
