As a Residential Conveyancing Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting the Head of Department on a varied caseload of residential property transactions. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with files from inception to post-completion across a range of residential property matters
  • Managing post-completion requirements including stamp duty returns and Land Registry submissions
  • Requesting and collating redemption figures
  • Ordering and submitting property searches
  • Assisting in the preparation of contract packs and providing reports to clients
  • Responding to client queries and maintaining high levels of client care

This role would suit someone with at least 6 months' prior experience in residential conveyancing, ideally within a law firm environment. You should be a proactive, well-organised team player with a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills.
