Are you an experienced Planner with proven Green Belt expertise looking to take the lead on diverse and challenging projects? This is an opportunity to join a well-established rural and property consultancy with an ambitious, forward-thinking team. You’ll manage a mix of rural, commercial, and residential planning projects, taking full ownership from appraisals to appeals. Green Belt experience is essential, and you’ll be a key contact for clients, delivering tailored, strategic planning solutions. Leading a small team, including a Graduate Planner and an Assistant Project Manager/Planner, you’ll work closely with directors and play a crucial role in shaping successful outcomes. What You’ll Be Doing Managing a varied portfolio of planning projects from start to post-decision Leading on Green Belt applications and appeals Mentoring and supporting junior team members Developing bespoke planning strategies to meet client goals Building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders Using technology and digital tools to streamline processesWhat We’re Looking For 10+ years’ planning experience with proven Green Belt expertise MRTPI Chartered (or eligible) preferred Strong organisational and project management skills Confident communicator, able to work independently and collaboratively Comfortable using CRM systems and other digital toolsWhat’s On Offer Salary circa £45,000 depending on experience Performance-related bonus scheme Hybrid or remote working – some face-to-face meetings with directors required (every 2 weeks or monthly minimum) Full admin and professional support Ongoing CPD and a clear progression path Supportive, close-knit team environmentInterested?
