A growing legal firm is looking to bring in a Construction Solicitor to support on a mix of contentious work, with the option to get involved in non-contentious matters as well. You’ll work closely with the Head of Construction, handling your own caseload while also supporting on more complex matters. The work will include adjudication, litigation, arbitration, and mediation, mainly under JCT and similar contracts. There’s a good level of client contact and a focus on practical, commercial advice.

- 2+ PQE in construction law
- Strong contentious experience
- Able to manage your own caseload
- Commercially aware and client-focused
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Non-contentious experience would be useful but isn’t essential.
The firm
Established firm with around 50 staff and a small but growing construction team. You’ll be joining at a stage where the team is expanding, so there’s room to develop and take on more responsibility over time.
Package
