A well established M&E services provider delivering hard services to commercial clients across the UK. The business has around 130 in-house engineers, giving strong delivery capability and solid operational support behind every contract you win. This is a pure hunter new business role within the hard services sector. You will be responsible for building a pipeline from scratch and winning new commercial clients across facilities management, maintenance and M&E services. No warm accounts or inherited pipeline. Everything is driven by your own activity, from prospecting through to closing deals. You will spend most of your time in the field meeting prospects, networking and developing opportunities, with the rest focused on follow up, CRM management and closing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own a new business pipeline from scratch
- Win new commercial clients across M&E and hard services
- Cold calling, LinkedIn outreach and direct prospecting
- Book and attend client meetings
- Negotiate contracts and close new business
- Manage full sales cycle through CRM
- Work closely with internal teams to support delivery and onboarding
- Consistently generate your own revenue opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- Proven hunter in business development or field sales
- Experience in Facilities Management, M&E, Maintenance, Construction or Property sectors (preferred but not essential)
- Strong track record of building pipeline and winning new business
- Confident, resilient and comfortable with cold outreach
- Target driven with evidence of hitting or exceeding revenue goals
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE) Comms: Uncapped (4% on self-deliverable & 2% on subcontracted) Car: £3,500 allowance per annum Territory: Greater Manchester
