Responsibilities Manage and prioritise a busy pipeline of bridging loan applications. Underwrite cases in line with lending criteria and funding partner guidelines. Assess applicant creditworthiness and identify potential risks or red flags. Recommend risk mitigation strategies and offer pragmatic alternatives where needed. Maintain strong relationships with brokers, borrowers, surveyors and solicitors. Collaborate with teams across the business — sales, compliance, finance  and more. Keep internal systems updated and queries resolved swiftly and accurately. Stay informed on industry best practices, regulations and lending trends. Represent the company at events when needed.What We’re Looking For: Proven experience underwriting bridging or short-term property loans. Strong understanding of specialist lending products and risk management. Clear, confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills. Proactive and commercially minded, with a collaborative, hands-on approach.
