We’re working with a well-established sports brand with over 100 years of heritage, supplying replica kits to clubs worldwide. They’re looking for someone with a sales or outbound background to support a key grassroots campaign, helping them connect with football clubs across the UK. This is a great opportunity for someone used to high-volume outreach, research, and working towards targets, who wants to move into a more commercial role within sport.
The role
This isn’t a hard sales role, but it does require the same mindset. You’ll be responsible for building a pipeline of clubs and making sure the right people are being contacted.
Day to day:
- Researching and identifying 10–15 grassroots football clubs daily
- Gathering key contact details (Chairperson & Decision Makers)
- Sending out sales emails using pre-built templates
- Making calls to clubs to confirm details and build initial contact
- Updating CRM systems with accurate and relevant data
What we’re looking for
- Background in sales, telesales, fundraising, call centre or similar
- Confident on the phone and comfortable speaking to new people
- Used to working with targets, KPIs, or daily activity goals
- Organised and able to manage your own workload
- Interest in sport or football is a strong advantage
