We're working with a growing Manchester-based business looking for a Sales Order Processor to join their busy sales office. This is a hands-on role focused on processing customer orders, invoicing and supporting customers throughout the order process, alongside general sales administration and stock-related duties.
The Role
- You'll be supporting the sales and customer service team, with responsibilities including:
- Processing customer sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Raising invoices for customer deliveries
- Dealing with customer enquiries by phone and email
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams
- Arranging courier and pallet collections
- Updating customer records, orders and internal systems
- Supporting stock procurement and stock control
- Providing general administrative support to the sales office
About You
We're looking for someone organised, reliable and personable, with good attention to detail and a confident telephone manner. You may have worked previously in Sales Order Processing, Sales Administration, Customer Service, Sales Support, Order Management or a similar role.
You'll Need:
- Previous experience using Sage 50 or Sage 200
- Experience in order processing, customer service or sales administration
- Good communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Good IT skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and Microsoft Office
- The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
- A flexible and positive approach to work

You'll be joining a growing Manchester-based business operating within the printing, labelling and data capture technology sector. They supply printers, scanners, labelling equipment and related products to businesses across sectors including logistics, manufacturing, retail and healthcare.
