We’re looking for someone with around 12 months of experience in an accountancy role who’s ready to build on their skills. You’ll get hands-on exposure to a wide range of work, mentoring from experienced accountants and support towards professional qualifications.
We’ll also consider applicants with less experience if they have the right attitude, aptitude and potential to grow with the business.
What you’ll be doing
- Assisting with bookkeeping using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
- Preparing basic financial statements under supervision
- Helping with VAT returns and other statutory filings
- Supporting the preparation of personal and corporation tax returns
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
- Reconciling bank statements and assisting with month-end processes
- Contacting clients to request documentation
- Providing general admin support to the team
