We’re working with a growing financial services company in Altrincham that is entering an exciting phase of growth, with a close knit team and strong long term plans. This is a great opportunity to join early, work closely with senior leadership and develop within a fast moving, commercially focused environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting day to day finance operations, ensuring accuracy, control and timely reporting across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing customer and investor transactions, ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time
- Performing regular bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
- Supporting loan book reporting, including reconciliation of lending transactions and balances
- Assisting with investor reporting, including KPI tracking and analysis
- Supporting month end processes, including posting accruals and prepayments
- Liaising with external accountants, auditors and third parties where required
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting through data analysis
- Providing general finance support and ad hoc reporting
About You
- Experience with reconciliations, journals and month end processes
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems
- Good understanding of double entry bookkeeping
- Studying towards or keen to pursue AAT, ACCA or CIMA
