Many people in our community feel lonely or isolated due to age, health issues, or life changes.
We are
looking for volunteers to join our
Prevention Matters
team and help make a real difference.

As a volunteer befriender, you\’ll offer a friendly face, a listening ear, and practical support. Whether it\’s a chat over coffee, help getting to appointments, or showing someone how to use email or the internet, your time can make a huge difference. Your time and presence can help someone regain confidence and feel part of their community again.

We cover travel and out-of-pocket expenses

All volunteers are subject to a DBS check and must provide references. Hours are flexible
