A Peer Mentor is a volunteer who has experienced similar challenges and supports people toward education, work, or employment. Volunteers gain confidence, empowerment and can access a more positive sense of identity.

Key Responsibilities

- Help improve wellbeing, confidence, and independence by exploring supportive activities.
- Assist service users to engage with formalised support.
- Attend required training and development opportunities.

Recruitment and Training
After applying, the Peer Mentoring Coordinator will arrange a meeting to discuss the role. We will request two references and apply for an enhanced DBS check. Full training will be provided over a two‑day period.
