We are currently recruiting a concierge to join our brand new Service in Northampton.
About The Service
Ray House provides accommodation, support and advice to adults experiencing homelessness with a history of rough sleeping. The service helps individuals build stability, improve wellbeing and move towards independent living through accommodation-based support and access to specialist services.
The impact you will have
You will play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and well-managed environment for residents, visitors and staff. As the first point of contact within the service, you will help ensure individuals feel supported, respected and able to access the right assistance when needed. Through effective front-of-house support, strong professional relationships and a proactive approach to health and safety, you will contribute to the smooth day‑to‑day running of the service. Your work will help maintain a secure and supportive environment, promote resident wellbeing, and ensure the service operates to a high standard.
Contract Details
- Contract: Permanent
- Salary: £27,418 - £28,541 per annum, pro rata, dependent on experience.
- Hours: Part time 25 hours per week
- Shift times are currently being finalized and will be confirmed at interview. Typical shifts may include: Week 1: 10.00am - 15.00pm, Week 2: 15.00pm - 20.00pm, Monday - Friday

About You
You will be approachable, reliable and confident in working within a busy, people‑focused environment. With a calm and professional manner, you will be able to build positive relationships, manage challenging situations and contribute to creating a safe and welcoming service for residents and visitors.
You will have:
- Experience of working in a front‑of‑house, concierge, security or customer‑facing role.
- Experience of managing challenging situations, including conflict resolution or supporting distressed individuals.
- Experience of carrying out administrative duties, including record keeping and handling enquiries.
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices and relevant health and safety legislation and procedures.
- Understanding of health and safety practices within supported accommodation or a similar environment.
You will be proactive, observant and able to work both independently and as part of a wider team, ensuring the service remains safe, supportive and responsive to residents’ needs.
