Are you an experienced sales professional in the Independent Training Provider (ITP) and apprenticeships sector? Interested in leading a new business initiative at a market-leading EdTech company? This might be the role for you!

The company is a market-leading software company that delivers a learner-centred platform to over 100 Further Education Colleges. They’re now launching a new initiative – a new division designed to sit in the gap between education and what comes next: Employment, Apprenticeships, and Higher Education. This new initiative is designed to address challenges through targeted engagement, structured experiences, and a measurable learner pipeline.

The role involves leading the new division’s subscription sales to Independent Training Providers, leveraging the company’s trusted footprint across Post-16 institutions and 200,000+ learners to provide young people with highly targeted Apprenticeship opportunities. You will focus on building long-term partnerships with ITPs, who will use their subscriptions to promote their Apprenticeship vacancies effectively.

This is a hands-on, full-cycle sales role, responsible for building a pipeline from outbound prospecting through to contract signing. You will act as a visible figure within the ITP and apprenticeships sector, building your own reputation alongside the product's growth through events, content, and direct engagement with senior stakeholders.

This is a high-impact role – you’ll be making a genuine difference to the lives of thousands of young people, while operating with a high level of autonomy and earning potential (OTE £100k+). With strong market demand, a clearly defined target audience, and a product built on an existing, highly credible platform, this role offers genuine earning potential for the right person.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively build and manage a pipeline of ITPs from the ground up.
  • Work closely with ITP stakeholders to understand cohort requirements, funding priorities, and learner recruitment challenges.
  • Own the full sales and account cycle end-to-end (prospecting through to close and then account management).
  • Build relationships with senior ITP stakeholders and sector organisations.
  • Guide prospects through product demonstrations, evaluation, and onboarding.
  • Position the solution in the context of apprenticeship funding models, cohort planning cycles, and employer engagement strategies.
  • Monitor learner engagement data, adapt campaigns on the fly, and prepare KPI reports for customers.
  • Use engagement data and learner behaviour insights to demonstrate ROI and inform customer strategy.
  • Be responsible for accurate financial forecasting and reporting regularly to the Managing Director.
  • Create sector-interest content, attend and speak at conferences, organise and manage webinars, and use LinkedIn to engage customers.
  • Collaborate with an experienced, mission-driven team to shape and evolve the proposition.

The package:

  • 20 days annual leave + bank holidays, rising per year of service.
  • Extra day off on your birthday.
  • Very flexible hybrid or remote working.
  • Opportunity to work in a mission-focused, fast-growing organisation.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience of working in, and selling to, the ITP & apprenticeships sector.
  • A strong understanding of the apprenticeship market, funding models, and policy direction.
  • Track record of achieving ambitious sales targets.
  • Self-starter and driven, working in an autonomous and high-ownership environment.
  • Be quick on your feet – ready to maximise sales by building relationships and seeking opportunities to engage with the sector.
  • Be a very confident communicator across all channels.
  • Comfortable operating in an early-stage or new initiative environment, where structure is evolving, and opportunity is high.
