Our client is a DfE-accredited, Ofsted-outstanding training company providing apprenticeships, professional development and the DfE’s ‘Golden Thread’ (trainee teachers to school Executive Leaders).

The role
The company is looking for an experienced sales professional to step into the Head of Sales role. In this role, you’ll be responsible for recruiting, training, and overseeing the performance of multiple teams to hit the company's annual targets.
Additionally, you will develop and implement effective sales strategies. You will need to be comfortable setting monthly and Quarterly sales targets and effectively driving the teams to achieve.
Responsibilities include:
- Build highly effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay informed about company policies and recruitment strategies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced approaches.
- Utilize Excel, Power BI, CCRM, and SPIRIT to create meaningful reports and data that support the department and highlight our status to stakeholders, including Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members.
- Collaborate with marketing and partnership teams to proactively seek new partner organizations and opportunities, expanding the program's offerings.
The package
- £60,000-65,000 base salary
- Realistic bonus of up to £25,000 per annum

- Proven track record of managing the sales process from planning to closing
- Experienced in identifying, recruiting, and hiring talented salespeople
- Proven experience in sales, recruitment, or apprenticeships
- Knowledge of apprenticeships
- Ability to communicate, inspire, and motivate others
- Professional demeanour
- Ability to work well under pressure and effectively address issues as they arise
- Open to change and actively seeking ways to improve processes and team outputs
- A motivated, self-starter character
- A tenacious, confident, goal-driven approach
- Strong mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- Excellent time management skills to maximize the ability to reach goals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an excellent telephone manner
